Background
There is a need for development of user friendly technologies for easy adoption by the farmers. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) helps in making the right information available at right time and the right place to farmers and stakeholders in the value chain. There is a manifest demand from farmers for technical and market info as well as skill sets that is timely, credible, regularly updated and user-friendly. ICAR-CIFE, as the key proponent of inland saline aquaculture, has the responsibility and opportunity to fulfil these unmet demands.
